The adidas Yeezy 500 has had a relatively sparse release schedule since debuting in 2018. Yet, the model has been lauded by audiences for its fall and winter-appropriate ruggedness, as well as for delivering reliable performance on the basketball court. Recently, the adiPrene-cushioned silhouette appeared in a mostly-grey “Granite” colorway prepped for a May 14th release. Akin to previous iterations of the Yeezy, the upcoming shoes indulge in a suede, leather and mesh build across the upper. The greyscale arrangement that takes over the entirety of the pair likens the design to a rat, harkening back to the earliest moniker of the 500 model. Laces, inner lining and Feet You Wear outsoles underfoot boast various shades of “Granite,” creating another versatile look for the Yeezy 500.
