Kanye West and the Yeezy brand are awfully busy this month. The return of the Yeezy 700 v2 “Static”, as well as a selection of Yeezy Slides, are already scheduled for the first week, but there’s a full arsenal of Yeezy sneakers set for the remainder of the month – barring any last minute postponements.
Originally expected as a re-release of the Yeezy 700 v3 “Safflower”, this new style presents a new style that separates it from its predecessor by a few degrees. Dubbed the “Mono Safflower”, this updated style sees a slightly different set of upper colors, namely in an exterior cage that has gone from white to more of an opaque cream. The remainder of the shoe’s build seems consistent with the original – a worthy substitute if you’ve never had the first Safflower Yeezys.
This slightly new variation of the Adidas Yeezy 700 v3 is expected to release at Yeezy retailers on March 18th. See a set of in-hand photos ahead and stay tuned for an updated store list.
