2021 was nothing short of eventful for Concepts, as the retailer continued to bring out collaboration after collaboration up to the end of the year. This momentum is fortunately being carried into 2022 and then amplified for not just one but three different variations of the Nike Air Max 1. Though details on the project have been kept under wraps for quite some time, these newly surfaced official images indicate that we may be inching very close to a release. While it bears a relatively close resemblance to the pair seen on Deon Point’s IG, this colorway proffers a few changes that sets itself apart. The cow-patterned faux fur across the vamp, for instance, swaps its palette for a more classic black and white; and the denim along the quarter is tweaked as well, adding an acid treatment atop its lightwash. Farther below, the lightly speckled sole and olive ripstop mudguard are kept intact, something that can be also said for the velvet across the tongue as well as the bandana and tribal prints at the rear.
