Only 51 days have transpired since the start of the new year, but NIKE, Inc. has already unveiled (either directly or indirectly) dozens of sneakers prepped for the end of 2022. Recently, an orange and black-colored Air Jordan 1 Mid has surfaced, leading spectators to believe the company’s Halloween collection has already been decided upon.
While likely not an official offering for the spookiest season, the upcoming Jordans would fare well at any October 31st celebration. Smooth leather across most of the pair indulges in vibrant pumpkin-reminiscent orange, with toe boxes and tongues deviating ever-so-slightly in a lighter shade of the citrus tone. Mid-foot panels and “Wings” insignias on the lateral ankle flap up the ante by showcasing “Black” contrast, creating the two-color scheme most widely associated with Halloween. No glow-in-the-dark outsoles, scary graphics or other detailing employed on past footwear for the holiday appear on the mid-top Jordan 1, but the shoe’s clean costume will surely attach it to the occasion for years to come.
Enjoy a first-look at the Halloween-appropriate retro ahead, and expect a Nike.com launch during the second-half of 2022.
