Over its 40-year history, the Nike Air Force 1 has emerged in countless ensembles, with several of them going beyond a simply change in color palette. Iterations like its Luxe one have modified the original blueprint conjured up by Bruce Kilgore in 1982, giving the silhouette new style, functionality and more. Recently, the Air Force 1 Luxe emerged in a classy look achieved by a predominantly “Brown Basalt” leather build. Perforation patterns on the toe box forgo their traditional layout in favor of a more ornate one, resembling those found on traditional wingtip shoes. Sole units underfoot also undergo notable changes, with the midsole donning an enlarged, layered arrangement clad in a semi-transparent light brown tone. Outsoles also boast their own modification, delivering a fashionable and functional update to the designed-for-basketball proposition. Enjoy official images of the pair here below, and anticipate a Nike.com release soon.
