Over time, Nike’s “Athletic Club” has amassed a wealth of new members, from the Air Force 1 to the Air Max 97. The Dunk High, too, has joined the collection, contributing much more than its previously-revealed grey-on-white colorway.
Though distinct from its predecessor aesthetically, the pair features all of the same details unique to “Athletic Club” offerings. For starters, “DUNK” is debossed into the back heel, ostensibly celebrating the shoe’s history as a hardwood classic; adjacent, the pack’s name is then written atop both the tongue label and insole, styled with a font that is reminiscent of vintage collateral. As for the palette itself, a dark and light shade of green marks the suede overlays and base, respectively, while the Swoosh and midsole opt for a bright white neutral.
