The Adidas Yeezy Foam Runner has become a spring and summer staple over the last two years. And while the slip-on silhouette has helped Ye – the being formerly known as “Kanye West” – continue to be a force within the footwear space within the first three months of 2022, it seems poised to carry that trend over to the remainder of the year.
On April 16th, the partly-recycled Yeezys are expected to release in a “Sulfur” colorway. While not too much of a deviation from past earth tone-covered offerings from Ye’s Three Stripes-backed label, the option further expands the $1 billion+ empire. Production numbers haven’t been disclosed by any party involved, but it’s possible the “Sulfur”-colored Foam Runner is one of the most accessible releases yet. The design with which the model debuted on June 26th, 2020 remains the same on the upcoming drop, with the porous upper sitting atop a herringbone-patterned sole unit that’s been lauded for its comfort.
