“Next Nature” is not just for existing shoes. The term likely refers to Nike’s newest chapter of sustainability, one rife with not just recycled Dunk Lows and Air Force 1s but also a drove of new, innovative silhouettes. Back in October, the Free Terra Vista was one of the first to lead the charge, offering a design refreshing though familiar in its street-meets-trail aesthetic. And to ensure the sneaker starts 2022 on the right foot, the brand is presenting it in a vibrant colorway that rivals even ACG’s best.
Between the “Desert Ochre” suedes, a duo of purple shades rear their head. A lighter violet marks the ripstop along the toe, while the mesh mid-panel and tongue opt for a darker, more fluorescent finish. Neighboring the two is a vibrant, neon-like orange, which dyes the laces, pull tab, and both the miniature Swoosh and circular design logo. White midsoles sit underfoot, while a deep grey and brown add contrast to the recycled outsole and counter, respectively.

In other news, the New Balance 550 is in store for a couple exciting collaborations this year.
