Nike’s “Circular Design” branding is the one constant among their sustainable offerings. It’s dressed everything from “Space Hippie” to “Next Nature,” and will continue to accompany the brand into the future.
For its latest appearance, the logo is helping usher in the return of “Crater,” situated right on the insole of the pack’s upcoming Air Force 1. And while “Volt” acts as a backlight to the arrangement of Swooshes, the neon takes little away from this colorway’s white on black look. Between the two neutrals, the latter sees far less usage, only surfacing atop the lining of the much lighter upper. Even the palette’s off-white accents see more of the spotlight, as the shade outfits the Swoosh, heel tab, and the base of scrap-laden midsole.
For a closer, more detailed look at this forthcoming Air Force 1 Crater, see below. Sizes should surface on Nike.com and at select retailers within the coming months.
