[stockie_text]Back in 2019, Nike took it upon themselves to create a better, more sustainable world, doing so by reducing their carbon footprint little by little. And in just three years’ time, the brand will power facilities with 100% renewable energy; then, by 2030, they’ll reduce their carbon emissions by at least 30%.
As all of this plays out in the background, the Swoosh is continuing to expand their recycled catalog, adding to the mix both the “Crater” and “Next Nature” range. While both encompass the “Circular Design” philosophy, neither would have had the opportunity to run if not for the success of the “Space Hippie” collection.
This year, “Space Hippie” is rejoining the conversation, as the Space Hippie 04 was recently redesigned for 2022. The updated version is slated to release soon in a “Light Lemon Twist,” which dyes the Flyknit upper as well as the flat laces, counter, and elastic collar. Below, the smoother, less crater-like midsole is dressed in an off-white, complementing the dark, scrap-laden outsole underfoot.
For a closer look at this upcoming Space Hippie 04, see the official images below. Sizes are likely to appear on Nike.com as well as at select retailers on February 10th. In other news, the Air Max 90 Valentine’s Day has finally reared its head.[/stockie_text]
