Earlier this year, the Nike Dunk Low SE was revealed in a new “Sun Club” colorway, a concept that made appropriate use of both recycled and sustainable materials. And while originally thought to be a one-off, it seems that pair is not alone, as an entirely new variation has surfaced via official images.
While it may also feature the sun-drenched, palm tree embroidered branding, this make-up changes up quite a bit of the overall construction. Even the said logo itself has been moved, placed a bit more forward for better visibility. Material-wise, the overlays still proffer a thick tumbled leather, though their coloring is far more varied with pink, orange, blue, and green pastels. Underneath, the base makes use of a unique textile, its white surface seemingly much softer than the hemp its predecessor employs. What’s more, bamboo shoots act as dubraes, Grind rubbers build out the sole, and “Sun Club” is proudly etched atop the tongue.
