Despite working with strategic partners to introduce new performance-running technology to casual sneaker enthusiasts, ASICS can’t seem to bring itself to pausing production of its 31-year-old GEL-Lyte III.
Recently, the Japanese institution has outfitted its split-tongued silhouette in a handful of spring-ready colorways, with one of the most noteworthy arriving with “frozen” shades of blue and yellow across its suede, leather and mesh upper. Pale yellow laces interrupt the cool-tinted arrangement that surrounds it, with black joining the effort across profile vector logos, collar and inner-lining, and other detailing.
